I had a great time at the con. The Star Wars game went off great! I got to run around the building playing a Serenity LARP with Nerf guns. And I finally hit level 5 with my RPGA character. The only bad side is I got a nasty head cold that is paired with a fever. I had to call off of work today because of it. I'm going back to bed now.

I've been busy getting ready for the con in a few weeks. I really need to learn to manage my time better. I get so excited about stuff I forget to do important things. I just realized I forgot to pay my student loans. ARGH! *sigh* I still need to get tax stuff done. I don't know why I feel s scatter brained right now. I'm prepping for a con and I seem to lose track of time. I just realized it's after midnight. I need to get some sleep.

Well I was really surprised that my new app worked. I tried it at work and was shocked to hear that it worked. I've been alittle busier than I would like. I'm doing pretty good. Working hard and trying to find a better one. It's not going all that great.

Had a bit of a sad event yesterday. My launch xbox died. Though I have been prepared for this. I have been saving up since December. I managed to put enough away to pay for the xbox up front. I finished setting it up tonight while working on job apps. It's hard. With the economy and other factors I'm just barely pushing above the grade. Well not much else I can do.

For some reason my energy is really low lately. I had a little bit of the sniffles but nothing major. I've been getting some good sleep but I just don't have any energy or motivation. I got my xmas shopping done. I need to schedule my inspection for next week. Blahh I think I just need some time to just lay around I guess.

Regcon was really nice except for two tables I ran and one girl. That girl was a real brat. She actually though it was unfair that enemies, who were regimented soldiers, used tactics against her. She said they shoud not be attacking her so affectively. *sigh* Oh well. Best to move on and make it a funny gaming story of an example of total idiots.

I'm still trying to clean up the house. I've got allot of it done. Mainly the floors and counters are left. Also the fridge. That will be fun. Once everything is cleaned up I can then put up the tree. I still need to start my Xmas shopping. I'm just really lazy about it this year for some reason.

I need to go shopping really bad for groceries. Probably tomorrow I can work on that. I'm having dinner with my mom tonight. Going to help her set up her new printer and help get my Nana on her FaceBook account. Nana is my grandma that lives in Kansas. It's going to be interesting.

Downloaded Pirates! for my Xbox. I love that old game. I can play it for hours and usually do. I also got the new levels for Force Unleashed. With the con this weekend I doubt I will get much time to play. I'm still playing allot of Chrono Trigger for the DS. Greatest game ever.

My nice long weekend begins. I beat Fable II and Keflings today. Got the evil ending in Fable II. Going through it again this time playing the good line.

I managed to purchase a 120gb hard drive for my Xbox for only $100. I'm hoping it will be here this week. That way I can start working on transferring data over. About 10gb will need to be transferred over. Hoping that I can do most of it with the memory stick. Installing the games to the hard drive take up a good amount of space. Course it does help keep my system going.

It was a pretty nice weekend. Allie, Steve, and I saw Bolt. My sister got us in because she works there. Got the leave raked up and disposed of. Ran LFR this past weekend. It was a pretty good game. Helped take care of Allie sore leg for her. Then we picked up new sheets for my bed. Very nice and soft jersey cotton sheets. And now we are watching a great ninja movie. Needs more ninja's though. But it is right up my alley.

Well it looks like my Xbox problem might be changing. With the release of the new dashboard I can now install games to my hard drive. I tested it out with Fable II. Yeah I really love the Fable series. And it drasticatly reduced the amount of disk loading it did. I was able to play with out any crashes like I have been getting. Now I need to consider purchasing a 60gb hard drive and save up for a new one just incase. But at least I can extend the life of my xbox a bit more now. I'm not sure if I should wait till black friday to look for the new hard drive to go pick one up now. It's hard to tell if there will be any deals.
I downloaded the demo of Keilfings yesterday. And then immediately bought it. For some reason I really love Ninja Bee games. Band of Bugs is great if you are looking for a good tactics game. I'm waiting for the re-release of Chrono Trigger next week. Love that game to death. I need to get Allie to play it once through. I have a feeling she might like it <3 I got Rune Factory 2. The first one is really good if you like Harvest Moon meets Gauntlet style games. Yes it is a very weird combination but my god does it work out very well.
Ya know gaming takes up allot of my life and for some reason I really like it. I remember when people said that video games were just a fad and now here we are with three generations growing up with them.
WOOHOOOOOOO~ I only work two days next week. I have off Wednesday through Sunday. I'm going to get a good bit of gaming and quality time with Allie in.
I found out that next month's dragon magazine will include a playtest for Druids. I know a certain gator will be happy with that. <3

Well the year 08 is winding down. I've got all my vacation scheduled. I getting set up for RegCon in december. I'm fighting my way through SallieMae screwing up my payments.

My Xbox looks like it will be dying soon. I'm having trouble playing Fable II. I've found if the games does a good bit of loading it will stop reading the disk. I've done the best troubleshooting I can and cleaned the system. Hopefully I can make it last until I can afford $200 for the arcade model. I've already checked and it's not under warrenty any more.

I also have my car inspection coming up in January. Oiye sometimes it feels like everything comes at once. I'm still checking for the HACC updated schedule for next year. I wanna get my MCSA next year. That will atleast stop the student loans for a while and I can focus on moving.

All the bosses called off today. I'm running the show. It's fun.

I had a long day at work. Got off early to vote. Waited in line for about 45 minutes. Got home just before six. Called mom and wished her happy birthday. Found out there is problems with one of the cousins and her family. I have to start finding out what is going on there. I hope it's okay. Going to bed. Side note.... I love Fable II.

Well it's flu time again here at work. I've been trying hard to dodge the flu. I've been going to bed early and washing my hands allot. I'm feeling pretty good. Usually I feel run down and tired at work but going to be about 10 really does help. Now only if I didn't have to work at 8 am. I still hate mornings. I found a place in Harrisburg to get my flu shot at tomorrow. My mom reminded me to get it done. She said Rite Aid was doing them but I found the American Lung Association was offering them at Giant tomorrow from 3 pm to 7 pm. Perfect time for me since it's right up the road.

I've sent out a message on the PA-Regulators board about a LFR games day this Saturday. I have been falling behind in games and needs to catch up.

Well not really drastic but much needed changes I guess. RPGA has released the LFR CCG 1.7 and it adds some nice changes into it. No longer do you have to worry about that 5 items per tier list thing anymore. They have opened the doors for everything practically. All the Dragon Magazine stuff are free game. Everyting out of the Adventurer's Vault is open access. hehehe Airship here I come.

I'm looking to start classes against in the new year. I am going to get my MCSA this time. I've found a couple of jobs in the 40k plus catagory that require it so I am going to go it. I hear it can be a bit of a bear to tackle but I don't know till I try. It will be really rough. Classes look like they will be about 5 months long with classes on Tuesday night, Thursday night, and Saturday daytime. It's going to be tough to have much of a life with that. I won't be able to visit Allie as easily and I won't be able to attend anime club. But I really need it for my job and it's better to get it done now rather than later. Well I will know more once class schedules are posted.

I finally got my book from Comic-Now. I ordered Anima: Beyond Fantasy a while ago. They lost the first book and had to reship it. Now the book I got in was damaged. I'm not overly thrilled about it so I emailed them about it. We will see how it handles out. I'm betting I will get told to bogger off. It's how allot of business's operate. Oh well. We will see.

Fable 2 is fuuuuun. I like guns, I like lightning people, I like slashing people. I want to play mooooore.

Well I had a feeling I would come into work today and get slammed with reports. And what do you know I was right. My manager walked around the corner doing that manager walk where they want you to do something for them. Turns out it was searching reports and tickets from the past two years. So about 40,000 tickets later I am done ahead of time and I went above and beyond what they needed. Yay me. Now I have to take calls. XP

Got some very tasty news today. The new Star Wars MMO is not official. Bioware released plans and information on it. I'm kind of nervously interested in it. The first Star Wars MMO that Sony did was horrible. This one is being down by BioWare so it has a very good chance of being good. I just don't want to get hooked into another MMO. They can get pricy. I'll have to wait it out I guess. The release is in 2009. I hope it's good.

I really am enjoying Fable 2. I was surprised when I realized there was gay marriages in it. I am surprised people weren't up in arms trying to burn down gaming store for it. The combat is nice and the dog you get in it is very useful. I was a fan of the first one so I wanted to see how the second one was. It looks really nice on the HD.

Blargh my brian is fried from those reports.

Well it's the weekend again. I hate the fact I've gotten a normal hour job and I live for the weekends now. I guess it happens after a while in life.

James got errr order Rock Band 2 for my Xbox. He's getting that combo kit where it has all the stuff and the game on Sunday. It will be interesting. I downloaded My Sharona and Pretty Fly for it already. It will be fun. I can't sing at all. So I'm hoping to play the guitar and drum a good bit. I ordered Fable 2 limited edition so that will be at the house on Tuesday. Hopefully on Wednesday I can play some. I've been playing Disgaea DS and Dragon Quest IV allot too. DQIV has always been a great game. I love playing it again.
I got a massive amount of laundry done. I now have clean clothes YAY! With the Ren Fair this weekend I won't have much time to finish cleaning. I still need to dust my room and clean up the clutter. I'm a guy. I don't like cleaning. I need to rake up the leaves in the yard. I'm probably going to wait till most of them have dropped to get them. It looks nice and autumny with them on the lawn and in November I will get them. I like leaves on the lawn.
I ordered Anima: Beyond Fantasy RPG but the company lost my order in the warehouse. I emailed them and they are going to ship it out again. I liked the card game allot. Allie and I enjoyed it. I'd like to get it and play it some more. It's up to 4 people.

On the 24th through 26th WOTC will be running Weekend in the Realms. It will be a special three part adventure. I'm hoping I get a chance to play a bit though it's not looking like I will be able to. Oh well, part of getting old is realizing that your free time dissappears more rapidly.
I realized that Fable II comes out next week on the 21st. I'm going to get the Collector's Edition. It has some items that I would eventually end up buying either way. I really liked the first one and hope it plays a bit like the first one. I got allot of replay value out of the first one. I'm hoping to get some time to play through it a bit. The addition of guns does interest me allot.
Not sure what D&D adveture I'm running this weekend. I think I will wait till all the players are gathered and then asked them which one they want to play. Usually easier that way.
Tonight is laundry and cleaning night. Regardless of anything I must get laundry done and clean up my room a bit. I need to do some work in the bathroom too. Time time time it seems to fly away faster than it comes to me.

What have I been up to lately?
Well I got my A+ and Network+ certifications. Though I realized that's not near enough it seems. I've been applying for jobs but getting allot of rejections. I've been wishing I had been smart and kept up with my education more than I did but there's nothing I can do about that now. In Dec or Jan I'm going to start classes for my MCSE. Allot of job places I'm looking at recommend it. I'm not a Microsoft fan but I want a better job. Been playing allot of 4th Edition D&D. I like it allot. When to Anime USA last weekend. Wasn't to interesting but the games we played up stairs were really fun. I got to play in a Star Wars Saga game and as Prowl in a Transformers game. I loved shooting missiles and committing vehicular transformer slaughter. I have Anima: Beyond Fantasy RPG coming soon. I really want to run more but with my time being eaten up as much as it is I barely have time to clean and do laundry.
For some reason I was thinking about the Sailor Moon game I ran one time. It was allot of fun. I'd like to run another one of it. Though I would probably use 3rd Edition BESM system. It's a bit easier for powers and such.
Talking with the head guy of the gaming group I met this weekend was interesting. He's played allot of systems I have. Very nice guy.
I'm beginning to realize that one of the ways I can really relax and focus myself is if I get some gaming in. Video games are nice for relaxing but getting an gaming session in really helps focus me for the week and puts a bounce in my step. It's really nice to run at cons. I get pulled in so many directions at once. Get demanded to make creative and on the spot desicions. I'm exhausted after a day of sessions but I feel so centered and focused. From running at SIBcon I got allot of positive feedback. My players really had allot of fun and got really involved.
